Fundación Bucarabón is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded in 2018. It is a local support and development community organization, aimed at offering education and services to farmers and women of Maricao and surrounding areas.

The objective of the initiative is to create a coordination center together with other government, municipal, federal agencies, and universities, on and off the island, encouraging the participation of professionals, such as agronomists, technicians, and academics, who can offer their knowledge and turn this center into a research and practice laboratory.
